Three SUSC teams competed this last weekend at the Las Vegas Mayor’s Cup International Youth Soccer Tournament 2019, and all made SUSC proud.
Stanislaus United SC SUSC 07B Blue- Winning their first game out the gate, the SUSC 07B Blue team came up short with the 2nd game facing a tough Players 07 Elite. They were able to win their 3rd game and took 2nd out of their bracket.
Stanislaus United SC SUSC 05B Halcones- While dominating in possession, looking to explode at ¾ of the field, our SUSC Halcones advanced to finals, where they came up short on a 1 goal difference. Nothing to complain about, their performance this week was phenomenal.
Stanislaus United SC SUSC 08G Blue- These ladies came out to win. With total domination, beautiful triangle passes, and short through balls they swept their bracket with a 2 point or more win in all games. Heading to the Finals they had to face a solid Mustang defense, and although they had the lead and most ball possession all game, the girls had to go to PK’s to determine a winner off of a 2-2 tie when the final whistle blew. SUSC 08G’s stayed strong through the end winning the tournament and taking home the trophy. WAY TO GO LADIES!!!!

This past weekend the boys competed against some stiff competition in the Copita Surf Tournament held in San Jose. Going into the tournament these boys were ranked #5 in state and had to compete against the #1, #3, and #4 who were also competing in the event. After two long days of battling it out on the field and not losing 1 game, these boys walked off the field their last game as Champions of the Copita Surf and ranked #1 not only State wide but Nationally as well.
Congratulation to our SUSC 07B Blue
The SUSC 07B Blue did an awesome job this weekend at the Copita Surf tournament. Crushing it in their bracketing round games they made it to finals and had to face a very tough competitor, San Jose Surf 07b PDA. Falling a little short that game, our boys were still able to walk away with a 2nd place finish. It was great competition for all our teams this past weekend.
Stanislaus United 08g finishes 3rd in State Group of State Cup
This past weekend our SUSC 08 ladies finished their last State Cup Game. Competing for 3rd against Placer United Gold 08G, the girls knew they were up against a very tough team and it wasn’t going to be easy.
Starting the game off strong, SUSC was able to secure a goal early in the 1st 10 minutes of the game. Holding a 1-0 lead through most of the game it looked promising they would pull out a 1-0 win until the last 8 minutes when Placer was able to tie it up 1-1. This took the girls into a double overtime and then penalty kicks. It was a nail-biting moment as the teams went kick for kick, but it was our SUSC ladies that were able to pull out the win.
So much respect and appreciation for the Placer United Gold 08g team. They have always been such a tough competitor and always give our ladies a heck of a battle. GREAT JOB SUSC 08 LADIES!!
Congratulations Coach Jose Luna and his Stanislaus United 05 Halcones
The Halcones took 1st place in Region 7 & 8 of Norcal Fall League for 2018. With 6 wins and 1 loss we are super proud of these buys and all that they accomplish each time they take the field.
Congratulations to our SUSC 07 Ladies for taking 1st in the Gold group at State Cup.
Congratulations to our SUSC 09b Blue for placing 6th at the State level of State Cup.
